MEJ-PTU8012 Low turbidity sensor

The MEJ-PTU8012 low turbidity sensor is designed for precise measurement of low turbidity in various liquids, and is widely used in fields such as drinking water monitoring, pharmaceuticals, electronics, etc. that require strict turbidity.

It is based on the combination technology of infrared absorption and scattering light. The infrared light emitted by the light source is scattered by suspended particles in the sample, converted into an electrical signal by a photodetector, and the turbidity value is obtained through analog and digital signal processing.

Characteristics:

Range: 0.01-100NTU
Resolution: The deviation of reading in 0.001~40NTU is ±2% or ±0.015NTU, choose the bigger one; and it is ±5% in the range of 40-100NTU
Flow Rate: 300ml/min≤X≤700ml/min
Pipe Fitting: Injection Port: 1/4NPT; Discharge Outlet: 1/2NPT

Intro to MEJ-PTU8012 Low turbidity sensor

The MEJ-PTU8012 low turbidity sensor is designed for precise measurement of low turbidity in various liquids, and is widely used in fields such as drinking water monitoring, pharmaceuticals, electronics, etc. that require strict turbidity.

It is based on the combination technology of infrared absorption and scattering light. The infrared light emitted by the light source is scattered by suspended particles in the sample, converted into an electrical signal by a photodetector, and the turbidity value is obtained through analog and digital signal processing.

MEJ-PTU8012 low turbidity sensor has significant highlights. The measurement range covers 0.01-100 NTU, with a resolution of 0.01 NTU, and can accurately detect extremely subtle changes in turbidity;

The measurement accuracy is extremely high, with an error of less than ± 2% of the measurement reading or ± 0.1 NTU (whichever is greater), and the data is reliable.
Its pressure bearing range is ≤ 0.4 MPa, and the flow velocity requirement is ≤ 2.5 m/s. It can adapt to various working conditions. Support sample calibration and slope calibration to ensure long-term accuracy of measurements.

In terms of material, the main body is made of corrosion-resistant SUS 316L for freshwater, titanium alloy for marine environments, POM material for the shell, and PUR material for the cable, which is durable and adaptable to complex environments.

Flexible power supply, suitable for AC 85-500 VAC (50/60 Hz) or DC 9-36 Vdc. The output is a 3-channel 4-20 mA signal, equipped with 3-channel programmable relays, and also supports Modbus RS485 communication protocol for easy networking and remote monitoring.

In terms of environmental adaptability, the storage temperature is -15-50 ℃, the measurement temperature is in the range of 0-45 ℃ (non freezing), and the protection level reaches IP68/NEMA 6P (sensor) and IP65/NEMA 4x (transmitter).

The sensor size is 60 mm in diameter x 256 mm in length, and the transmitter size is 145 x 125 x 162 mm (length x width x height). The sensor weighs 1.65 kg and the transmitter weighs 1.35 kg. The standard length of the cable is 10 meters, and it can be extended up to 100 meters for easy installation and layout in different scenarios.
